Responsible AI Training Module – For Boards

Board members will learn how to lead, govern and manage risks related to Responsible AI.

This is a 40-minute training module designed for Board members and focuses on how to develop strategy, govern and manage risks related to artificial intelligence.

  • What the Australian Government’s 8 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ethics Principles are and how they are designed to ensure AI is fair, safe, secure and reliable.
  • What are the key challenges of AI and steps to take to help mitigate risk by using a responsible approach to AI.
  • Bridging the AI responsibility gap in an organisation and how to start.

    Responsible AI Training Module – For Executives

    Executive team members and business leaders will learn how to lead, establish frameworks, policy and practices related to Responsible AI.

    This is a 3-hour training workshop developed for executive teams and leaders focused on designing and deploying Responsible AI infrastructure into their organisation.

    Outcomes

      Data Scientist & Engineer Training

      Hands on training for Data Scientists and Engineers in Responsible AI practices and tools.

      This is a two-day course for professionals who can, or already have, built data-driven models. The course aims to develop and enhance the technical skills necessary for building systems that use machine learning to make automated decisions whilst accounting for ethical objectives.

      Outcomes

      By the end of the course, participants will have explored, tested and scrutinised simple model systems that rely on machine learning to make automated decisions whilst also accounting for ethical objectives. Participants will understand and delved into some of the technical pitfalls that prevent machine learning systems from behaving ethically, and how to identify and correct for these. While many of the concepts discussed in this course are applicable across a wide range of AI systems, the course primarily focuses on models built using structured and labelled training data.
